Ethiopia: Call for Resumes: Water COPs/Project Managers and Technical Experts

AECOM International Development is seeking multiple long- and short-term water management experts for an anticipated USAID-funded project in Ethiopia to improve water sector management and build technical capacity in developing countries. Water management experts interested in applying should demonstrate experience in the following technical areas:

• Water resource engineering & management
• Water Supply Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
• Water utility performance monitoring, benchmarking, and regulation
• Water and wastewater system operation and maintenance
• Capacity building and certification
• Coastal and watershed management
• Financial/asset management
• Hydropower and water economics
• Irrigation and drainage operation and maintenance
• Strategic water and business planning

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in water management, especially experience working on international development projects in the water sector
• Master’s degree or better in engineering, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualifications and experience
• Experience working in Ethiopia
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent English required
• Experience managing projects and teams, notably as Chief of Party
• Work on international donor-funded projects strongly preferred, specifically with USAID
